Day 1 USA – FRANKFURT

Depart Denver for Germany. Dinner and refreshments served en route.

Day 2 FRANKFURT – ROTHENBURG
Arrive in Germany! Upon arrival you will be met by your local tour manager, who will take you to your private deluxe motorcoach for a transfer to Rothenburg, the famous medieval town with its ramparts, towers, and cobbled stone lanes. Check in at the historic Hotel Eisenthut for the next 4 nights. Welcome Dinner tonight at the hotel. (B,D)

Day 3 ROTHENBURG – AUGSBURG - ROTHENBURG
The Romantic Road will take you to Augsburg, one of the oldest cities in Germany which dates from the Roman era and has a rich architectural heritage. The Christmas Market, which is one of the most beautiful in the country, offers a wide variety of handmade gifts and crafts for your shopping pleasure. Late afternoon return to your hotel. (B,D) .

Day 4 ROTHENBURG – STUTTGART – ROTHENBURG

A joyous day with a visit to the Christmas Market in Stuttgart. This market, situated on the Marketplatz, is considered to be Europe’s largest with over 200 stands offering a wide variety of Christmas offerings. Dinner will be at a local restaurant or the hotel. (B,D)

Day 5 ROTHENBURG – NÜRNBERG – ROTHENBURG

Following breakfast you’ll travel the short distance to Nürnberg, which holds possibly the most well known Christmas Market in the world. In the afternoon we will return to Rothenburg. In the early evening, we will have a special tour of Rothenburg given by a “Night Watchman”. Dressed in historic clothes your guide will take you on a unique tour. History, tales and the special mood of the dark town will make this an unforgettable night for everyone. The tour will climax at the German Christmas Museum where we will have a inside visit. Then we will return to our hotel where a traditional German Christmas Dinner of duck will be served. (B,D)

Day 6 ROTHENBURG – HEIDELBERG- TRIER

Today we will depart Rothenburg and travel to Trier. Along the ride we will make a stop in Heidelberg for a visit to the local Christmas market. The market is spread out on five places – including the University Square, the marketplace with the backdrop of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the city hall, and the Corn Market with the backdrop of the Heidelberg Castle. After our stop we will continue to Trier.

Day 7 TRIER
The 2000 year old town of Trier dates back to the Roman era and has a rich architectural heritage. The Christmas Market in the Town Square offers a wide variety of handmade gifts and crafts for your shopping pleasure. Trier is well known as wine country. Tonight a special visit to a nearby winery will be made for a tasting and dinner.. (B,D)

Day 8 TRIER - LUXEMBOURG - STRASBOURG-TRIER
After breakfast you will depart for Strasbourg. While en route you will make a stop in Luxembourg City for a brief sightseeing tour of this fortressed city and a visit to the Christmas Market. Also, a stop will be made at the American Cemetery, final resting place of General George S. Patton. Later, you continue to Strasbourg for a brief sightseeing tour and a visit to one of the oldest Christmas Markets in France. Late return to Trier for overnight and dinner.(B,D)

Day 9 TRIER – FRANKFURT

Following breakfast, bid a fond farewell to Germany as you transfer to the airport and check in for your return flight to the USA. (B)
