Air schedule, Flights numbers, departures and arrivals are subject to change without notice. AM: Buffet breakfast followed by your transfer to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Arrive to Victoria Falls International Airport where you will be met and assisted through formalities, then board our private bus and get ready for our two hours drive to Botswana. En route, we will stop at Zimbabwe and Botswana border for immigration formalities (No visa is required for Botswana). After we complete the formalities we will continue our journey to CHOBE NATIONAL PARK where we are going to spend the next three nights At CHOBE SAFARI LODGE: your gateway to Chobe National park. Amenities include: squash court, beauty salon, internet café, river bar, restaurant and curio shop. CHOBE SAFARI LODGE: Located at the doorsteps of Chobe National Park and 60 miles away from Victoria Falls, Chobe Safari Lodge has been recently renovated and now boasts a great new dining, swimming pool, and bar area. The lodge offers: luxury accommodations, camping facilities, river boat cruises, fishing trips, and beautiful sunsets. All rooms are individually decorated; they offer every comfort. Each safari room affords the guests the luxury of air-conditioning, luxurious en-suite bath and shower facilities, as well as satellite TV. A large and varied breakfast buffet is offered in the terrace restaurant, with a choice of a continental or fully-cooked English-style breakfast. Lunch-time snacks can be eaten at the Cocktail Bar or the staff will gladly serve you whilst you are relaxing around the pool. At night, dine under the stars by the light of a hurricane lamp, or in the Terrace Restaurant overlooking the waters of the Chobe River. Dinner & overnight. BB, L, D The lodge is located on the banks of Chobe River. The river rooms are furnished with every luxury, including air-conditioning, satellite TV & telephone and they look on to the Chobe River. The Thatched rondavels are independently positioned, with ceiling fans & en-suite bathrooms. The famous Chobe campsite has a first rate ablution area & facilities along the banks of the river. This incredible untamed wilderness area is one of the great wildlife paradises of the world with its amazing eco-diversity and landscapes. A single day’s safari can reveal thousands of animals – elephants, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, kudu, the big five, and 250 species of birds. Game viewing at Chobe is a unique experience as we are on the doorstep of the Chobe National Park, which hosts the largest concentration of wildlife in Southern Africa. PM: Lunch at the Lodge. Get ready for your game drives either by open safari vehicles or a water safari by boat. Return to the lodge for dinner & overnight. BB, L, DDay 16 Nov 7 Sat CHOBE NATIONAL PARK – Botswana 6:00AM: Early morning tea and coffee followed by your morning game activities by private 4X4 open safari vehicle. Mid-morning, return to your Lodge for a hearty buffet breakfast, then you are at leisure to relax around the pool or read a book… 11:00AM: Boating activities and game viewing by small boat on the Chobe River. Noon: Lunch 3:30PM: Tea and snacks will be served in the lounge area prior to the afternoon game activities. A sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River caps the day. 7:00PM: Return to the Lodge to freshen up before dinner. 8:00PM: Dinner followed by coffee and tea by the fire. Overnight. BB, L, D 6:00AM: Early morning tea & coffee followed by your morning game activities by private 4X4 open safari vehicle. Mid-morning return to your Lodge for a hearty buffet breakfast, then at leisure to relax around the pool or read a book. 11:00AM: Boating activities, game viewing by small boat on the Chobe River. Arrive to Victoria Falls Town where we cross the bridge between Zimbabwe and Zambia, obtain entry visa to Zambia then we will proceed to ROYAL LIVINGSTONE HOTEL where we will be spend the next two nights. BB, D VICTORIA FALLS: Described by the Kololo tribe living in the areain the1800’s as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – “The Smoke that Thunders” and in more modern terms as “The greatest known curtain of falling water”, Victoria Falls one of the seven natural wonders of the world – are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zimbabwe and Zambia. There are many different activities based around the Falls, including the ‘Flight of Angels’, a short flight over the Falls in a small plane, Helicopter or micro light. White-water rafting is run from the ‘Boiling Pot’ downstream of the Falls, through a sequence of rapids. Also on offer are bungee jumps from the bridge that spans the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, boat trips, elephant’s rides and game drives in Livingstone National Park, where sighting might include white rhino, Thorneycroft’s giraffe, elephant, buffalo, kudu and hippo. Royal Livingstonehotel:is a 5-star, 173-roomed luxury hotel. Only footsteps from the Zambezi River, the rooms and suites offer a tranquil retreat. The rooms are two-storey clusters and each cluster comprises approximately 10 en suite air-conditioned rooms, offering private balconies or terraces with views of the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls. Interior furnishings accentuate the influences of Africa. All the rooms have satellite TV, radio and video, mini-bar, mini-safe and telephone with message/wake-up/voice-mail facilities. In-room dining is available. A dramatic view of the river will be enjoyed from the central reception. An ideally positioned bar and lounge under an open-thatch roof is cooled by the swish of punkahs. After our breakfast we will picked up by our guide for our tour of the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side, which offers excellent photographic opportunities. Visit the Eastern Cataract and cross the footbridge to the Knife Edge. PM: We will be picked up again to enjoy our Zambezi River’s sunset cruise aboard The African Queen Boat (Zambia): It is a triple deck, 70ft catamaran furnished with Zimbabwean Teak, beech wood and brass finishes. In the fading twilight hours, take a sunset cruise. Heed the call of Africa while sipping traditional cocktails and enjoying legendary snacks. Complimentary transfers will collect you, following this most memorable of experiences, you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight.
